2024 SUMMER CAMP RECAP


The 2024 Welcome To Hard Work Basketball Summer Camp was held in June and July in York, PA. We are incredibly proud of all our campers who gave their best and showed remarkable growth. Thank you for a Great Summer Camp Series!



Summer Camp Standout Report

Zoey Sellers: As an elite guard, Zoey has been awarded the MVP for the second consecutive year. She showcases remarkable speed, swiftly moving down the court, while also demonstrating proficiency in shooting from all three levels of the game.


Wyatt Searle: Wyatt won the MVP award two weeks in a row, showcasing impressive skills by excelling in rebounding and scoring. He demonstrated exceptional ability on the court by outpacing defenders and overpowering opponents of different sizes.


Jaliyah Rawlinson: A standout guard showcasing exceptional speed, toughness, scoring prowess, and elite basketball skills. Her defensive capabilities are truly disruptive, consistently gathering steals during games.


Landon Davis: Landon pushed the pace, slicing and dicing through defenders all camp. His developing shot continues to improve and score with accuracy. He also defends well with effort and toughness.


Kendall Creighton: Her game was built on strength and toughness. Kendall was a rebounding machine, and had a physical style of play. As her skills evolve, she will become a formidable opponent to defend against.


Gavin Evans: "G" is a lead guard with good ball-handling skills, playmaking, and scoring abilities. He loves the game and shows passion through his play and will to win.


Sameer Sutton: A tough guard with lightning speed on both ends of the court. Fearless in the painted area while finishing on contested baskets. Competed from the guard position with bigs for rebounding highs.


Chad Howard: The sharp shooting guard earned the "3-point King" award for being the top shooter in week 1 of camp. He made shots, and some from deep. His accuracy can change a game quickly.


Laila Hill: A player with a good base of skill at each position. She is inside rebounding and outside shooting. She plays point, and can slash with the best of them.


Adrien Mojica: This efficient, skilled shooter was timely in games when his team needed a 3. He plays with all around skills and intelligent defense.


Samya Crampton: The lefty took advantage of her size, long reach, motor, and great passion for the game. She excels at positioning herself near the ball, particularly on the backboard.


Osei Austin: Osei showed significant improvement in week 3, excelling in rebounding and displaying a strong presence on the basketball court, establishing themselves as a key player.
